Well, we arrived in California last Wednesday but it was a bit late to do much, so we just ate Chinese food out at the "Chinatown" that my husband was familliar with. On Thursday we went to Sea World, I got quite sunburned even though I had put on sunblock that morning.
On Friday we headed to Disneyland, it only took us 10 minutes to walk there from our hotel. This was the first day Disneyland was decorated for Halloween. It was an awesome day, the lines were very short, most of them only about 15 minutes. I saw virtually all of Disneyland and California Adventure Park in just 1 day!
On Saturday we went back to Disneyland, but we were very tired and sore so we only stayed about half the day this time. Not only that, but the lines were much longer now on a Saturday.
Sunday, I had a sore throat and my husbands back was bothering him, but we still went to Universal Studios. We actually paid extra for their "Front of the Line Pass" just in hopes of getting through this park sooner – lol – It was kind of a waste of money, because the park wasn’t that crouded to begin with, but it did save us some time on the rides, especially the new "Simpsons" ride, but we still didn’t get out of there until nearly closing time.
On Monday I had a cough to go with my sore throat, I was getting sick. Tuesday we both missed work, I had a full blown cold now and my husband could barely walk. – lol- that will teach us not to take such long vacations – lol-
